Sulphated Castor Oils

Sulphated Oils | Cosmetics, Metal Working, Textile |

Sulphated Castor Oils are biodegradable anionic surfactants derived from natural oils and fatty esters of the Castor bean. The product is produced by reacting concentrated sulphuric acid with castor oil and then neutralized with Sodium hydroxide. Originally known as Turkey Red oil as a result of its use as a dye assistant for Turkey Red cloth. Primary applications now include cosmetic and personal care, print press cleaning, metal working and textiles.
